Recently, I felt that my work so far was lacking some liveliness to it/feels too "clean". So, for this project, I decided to go back to the basics and try to stay in ZBrush as much as possible in order to improve my sculpting skills. As a subject matter, I've picked one of Joe Mad's famous designs, since I deeply adore the expressiveness of his work. (Think I have never sculpted that many skulls before in my life...)
Regarding the workflow, the main part was done in ZBrush, including poly painting, posing and UVs. Afterwards, I have imported the painted mesh to Substance Painter to rework the textures a bit and create some basic materials. I haven't done a proper retopo for this model, therefore it is not to be considered an actual asset. Renders were done in Unreal and Keyshot.
Also, tons of respect to Miles Wadsworth's terrific take on this character, which I have probably referenced more than the original concept, lol.
